Who we are

womic.io is an independent resource site about WO Mic, the free application that turns a smartphone into a wireless microphone for a computer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Wolicheng Tech, the developer of WO Mic. All trademarks, brand names and product names remain the property of their respective owners.

What we publish

We write setup guides, troubleshooting walkthroughs, compatibility notes and version history for the Windows client, the Android app and the iOS app. Every guide is written and tested by our own team on real hardware — a Windows 11 desktop, a Pixel 7 running Android 15 and an iPhone 15 running iOS 18.

Downloads and file integrity

We mirror the current Windows client installer so that a verified copy stays available even if the vendor download is temporarily unreachable. What this means in practice:

  • The installer is the unmodified vendor build. We do not repackage, modify or add anything to it.
  • We publish the SHA-256 checksum next to every download so you can verify the file yourself.
  • We do not bundle adware, toolbars, browser extensions or third-party installers.
  • The same application is also available from Google Play and the Apple App Store if you prefer to install from a store.

How we keep content accurate

Guides are re-checked whenever a new client version ships, and screenshots are regenerated on current Windows and Android builds. If you spot something that is out of date or wrong, email us and we will correct it.

Advertising and funding

The site is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no influence over the content of our guides, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a ranking position.

Limitation of liability

You are responsible for the files you choose to download and install. Scan any downloaded file with your antivirus before running it. We are not liable for damage, data loss or security issues arising from the use of software mentioned on this site.
